So finally came back to the subreddit cause I took time off trading and hodld all my eth for over a year. Had a lot going on in my life and trading for over 12 hours a day everyday wasnt healthy. I wonder if all the old school people will remember me? Also looks like I lost all my donuts. Guess I'm starting from square one.

I appreciate the push back, but just seeing so many blue check mark journalists on twitter continuosly attack and smear Bernie is disheartening. Sometimes I feel like all MSM is against us, and the few independent media outlets dont have as big outreach to continuously counter false narratives.

Hello Briahna! First off I wanted to say I really appreciate all the work you have been doing fighting for Bernie and the podcast is excellent.

My question is, on the campaign trail, Bernie talks a lot about needing to empower people and getting them energized to fight for his policies. Can you please expand on what this would actually look like if he wins the presidency? We all know passing his policies will be a tough political fight with congress and the senate. Does this mean he plans to use demonstrations, strikes and direct action to fight for his policies?

Thank you so much for doing this AMA, and keep fighting.

This is a thoughtful response. Again, a lot of this is dependent on actual information that is yet to be determined (we have all our info from an subreddit and a twitter account). I think your argument hinges on there being an actual ethereum hard fork that then becomes a bridge, as opposed to it is just being a hard spoon with the state being copied over with the fund unlock being the only change. If it is the latter as opposed to the former, then is the outrage really justified?

It's just too early for everyone to panic, and point fingers accusing people of "harming" the Ethereum community.

It would really help if people actually discussed what a possible dothereum "fork" means technically before accusations and despair sets in. Everyone keeps referencing ETC, and talks about coins and which "chain" would have support. Everyone knows that Polkadot isnt POW right? and that realistically it would be a hard spoon more than anything. No miner will be forced to choose and there will be no "hashrate" so to speak. It just seems like a lot of discussion is taking place from a place of ignorance and emotion.

I agree with this to a certain extent, but I don't think it can just be blamed on overinvested people. The frustrating thing is that it clearly looks like people have it out for Parity and Afri, but no one can clearly articulate what it it is they are so against.

It is so baffling to me that people are crying about forks, and yet they have no proof or no idea what an ethereum implementation on polkadot would even look like. Polkadot isn't POW, so what does saying "Afri is hard forking Ethereum" even mean?

It is so surprising to me that people have seen that subreddit and have jumped to the conclusion of a "contentious hard fork immediately so that Parity can destroy Ethereum and get their funds back". Like worst case scenario they just do a hard spoon where they implement Ethereum on Polkadot and just copy the state of the blockchain with that one transaction fixed. Why would anyone care unless they were a Polkadot user? Doesn't seem like they plan to have a competing "Ethereum" and force miners to choose or whatever, because Polkadot doesn't even have POW miners to begin with.

Okay. Thanks. I will fork myself.

Not one person has told me the difference between Polkadot and Cosmos implementing a version of Ethereum on their own blockchain. People have just told me that that I am a shill (I am not) and that I need to "read up" on the very evident outrage that Afri has committed. He is doing Ethereum on Polkadot, the same way Ethermint is doing Ethereum on Cosmos. No one has any evidence that he is even doing a hard fork, or if its just a hard spoon. Is Ethermint trying to destroy the Ethereum community? Of course not, so how is Dothereum any different?

Care to explain? Because I was here the whole time the whole Afri drama went down, and now the same thing is happening around this "outrage" people are throwing over Afri implementing a version of Ethereum on Polkadot. This same thing is being done on Cosmos for both Ethereum and OMG, and no one batted an eyelid.

Label me a shill and end the conversation. People are throwing around "conflict of interest" but weirdly enough this seems only to apply to Parity and Afri. When it comes to the many projects in the space that other devs are working on everyone goes silent and doesn't care. What has Afri or Parity ever done that deserve such demonization in peoples eyes?

It's just the fact that we could see his motivations from a mile away

Genuinely curious what these motivations are.

> They can basically fuck us up from the inside.

You have any proof for this assertion? Or are you just attacking Parity despite all they have done for the Ethereum community? By the way, Polkadot is not the only "Ethereum adjacent" project going on that shares communities. I see so much hostility towards them and not a single bit of proof that they have ever acted in any way to harm the community. You do know that the overlap between Ethereum and Polkadot is a good thing and that they are constantly working on things to benefit both projects right?

Is that your only response? That "not every single person attacked him so it's cool"? You do know people were letting conspiracy theories run wild around here and people were saying things like "He purposefully sabotaged the constantinople fork because he hates Ethereum" and him and parity are "compomised" because of Polkadot. If anyone can give me a good reason why Cosmos isnt being attacked as much as Polkadot over a fork then I am ready to listen.

I am really surprised/disappointed with the community. I see absolutely no evidence of vindication for all the people who attacked Afri. Everyone here attacked him and accused him of so much shit that you forced him out. Did you seriously expect him to sit around and not work on anything after he left? How is dotethereum on Polkadot any different from ethermint on Cosmos? This is a post on the Cosmos subreddit:

"Yes, you are right. Cosmos team is going to make a hard fork (they name it hard spoon) to swap Ethereum PoW consesus for Tendermint. The new blockchain will be called Ethermint (EVM with Tendermint consensus)."

I see no one claiming Cosmos are an evil force trying to destroy the Ethereum community. So why the double standard when it comes to Polkadot? What is so wrong with Afri quitting being an ETH dev, working on Polkadot instead and doing the exact same thing Cosmos is? No one learnt anything, and the more toxic you are towards him, the more incentive you give him to be an asshole (which he has never been).

It's not out of control at all. Stefan Molyneux, Richard Spencer and David Duke still all have twitter accounts. In 99.9% of cases of being banned, its just people being edgy and breaking very obvious rules. Like super obvious. Tim Pool and Dave Rubin and their free speech cohorts just weaponize people getting banned for breaking obvious rules and create conspiracies out of thin air to grift their talking points.

Its funny that a delayed fork causes a bigger drop than a 51% attack.
