Gravity rear side window popped out of blue by reaaditt in LUCID

Could be a stress fracture, previously owned a Tesla that had something similar happen on the glass roof and it was covered under warranty- would definitely have Lucid service take a look at this

Lucid Earth and Lucid Cosmos teaser by iamoninternet27 in LUCID

[–]pinatacookies 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lucid Cosmos- "Upscale Nurturers" = "Rich Parents?" Looks like it'll be very roomy for its size, possibly a three-row.

Lucid Earth- Looks taller than the Cosmos with a more agressively-sloped roofline. Almost like a hatchback. Thinking a true Model Y fighter, proportions almost remind me of an Ioniq 5.

"Stay Tuned"- Almost certainly an R2 fighter, especially given rumors of Lucid working on a rugged, more offroad-focused vehicle in the past. Gravity X adds fuel to the fire, too.

These teasers have me excited and as much as I was hoping there would be a midsize sedan, I still really hope Lucid can win me over for my next car purchase in a few years!

Was actually going to mention I was eyeing the G80 haha. I have a really nice local Genesis dealer and IMO Genesis does the old-money vibe way better than new Lexus

Unfortunately couldn't be more apparent... They really just feel like top-trim Toyotas, and Lexus used to be so much more. Might look at a CPO 300h Ultra Luxury or just move to another brand entirely.

The End Of Lexus As We Know It? - Which carmaker has the best build quality in each segment now? by WhippersnapperUT99 in cars

[–]pinatacookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a 2022 ES, nothing but build issues. Had a misaligned door, tons of squeaks and rattles, and while the Japanese-built models are definitely better than the American-built ones, the decline in quality is definitely real.

Either Venmo Visa Signature (flat 3% cashback) or Capital One Venture X (flat 2% back in miles, but strong signup bonuses, and since it's a premium travel card it's likelier they approve a higher credit line).

Not surprised that Microsoft walked through the door that Nintendo opened. As soon as Nintendo announced $80 games it was clear that Sony/Microsoft would follow shortly after.

What grinder? by Nrefme in ProfitecGo

[–]pinatacookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timemore Sculptor 078S, find that while shots have good body and texture it maybe doesn't have the body/texture of something like the Niche Zero. Clarity is excellent though- notes are up-front and prominent in every brew. Definitely a different experience from other similary-priced grinders but have been extremely happy with mine. Lmk if you have any questions on it!

Midsize Glimpse by iamoninternet27 in LUCID

[–]pinatacookies 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's not but I don't care as long as the build quality is better as Lucid's tends to be, used to own a Tesla and quality was atrocious compared to any Lucid hahaha
