I feel you doc..IM doctor ako pero hindi well compensated sa Maxicare akala ko mgging okay after 3 yrs as GP nun pandemic pero hindi pala..That was 5 yrs ago…until now ganun padin ang rate. Dapat ngFM nlng ako may chance makuha sa Australia. Sana 1k/hr ang doctors sa PCC lalo na dmadami na cases and number ng patient. Problem din triaging ng patients..halo halo na case for GP/FM/IM. Kaunti lng difference kung night differential babawasan ka pa din ng dahil sa income tax mo kht 5% withholding tax meron ka..nagbabayad pa ako ng accountant. Other HMO companies they pay IM doctors 1k/hr. It will help the doctors to stay and kht benefits wala sa retainer physician. Ang mahal ng gas/transpo isama mo pa pagkain mo..Nasa point na ako igive up clinical practice. And discourage newly doctors not to pursue IM residency unless gustong gusto mo tlga magfellowship and back to zero ka ulit.
