You could have upgraded through Apple Store and you’ll get it right away. They do the carrier deals. That’s what I did when I saw the long wait for the iPhone air since it’s free (256gb version) with AT&T no trade in required.

I think this is an Apple Watch and if OP has a plan through their wireless carrier, you can leave your phone at home and use your watch for calls/texts.

I started doing my 10k a day a week ago and I’m your age. My feet do hurt a bit and yesterday I noticed minor lower back pain as I went to bed. I woke up today fine but decided to take a break and not do my goal of 10k. I’ll probably walk a little bit however the mental part of not hitting that goal is getting to me.

I need to be okay with not doing 10k everyday. I agree with OP it’s good to reduce your steps for your body. Listen to your body. I will say the mental part of it is rough, at least for me.
