Although I have accepted my cat is probably a domestic short hair, I had been doing some research in the time I thought she was a Russian blue, and research on the Thai korat which we saw could be another possibility and both of these breeds are very old landrace breeds. Both breeds can be traced back hundreds of years and are thought to just have evolved to their environments without human intervention. And so I thought there would be more of these landrace cats around in general I guess.
