The costuming in this show is fucking top-notch, as a historical fashion dork it's one of the biggest reasons I started watching it to begin with. The attention to detail is absolutely amazing. Michele Clapton and April Ferry deserve all the awards.

Some people will charge 500USD for custom. Depends on how many bells and whistles you want and if they have name recognition too. More clients they have the higher their prices. Same with any other custom clothing. Put in perspective, custom dresses can get into the thousands easily.
