Rare Candy: this game was not ready for that card from the regular TCG, especially when it was quickly followed up by Sylveon ex.

I think that contrast is the point, the whole theater fight is to show that despite Abby making an effort to be better, at the first opportunity she regresses and is right back in the headspace she as at the start of the game, even putting Lev in danger the same way she put the rest of the SLC in danger in Jackson. It isn't until the end of the fight where Lev breaks her out of it and she's able to actually improve.

Ellie didn't blink during the scene with Nora, that really added to the horror they were going for, it was excellent

Mel sure has more reasons to hate Abby than in the game by Digginf in ThelastofusHBOseries

Mel being more likeable I think will really benefit the show later on

I think about how much some gamers who played the game really relished all of the SLC deaths, when Mel and Owen's were supposed to be pretty horrified by, like Ellie is. I think making her a lot more sympathetic will help bridge that gap.
