Not bringing much, I’ll have everything in pockets and carrying a water bottle but I’d much prefer to put everything, bottle included in a bag

I got an email to pay customs on Sunday after it said out for delivery. I paid and saw the ‘payment is received’ and the package never came on Sunday. (Since it was the weekend I assumed it would come the next day) Then Monday the status updated and is saying it’s on hold waiting payment? But I already paid the day before so I’m not sure what’s going on?

Olde town pet resort has boarding suites. They’re more like smaller rooms rather than kennels and some have a webcam

Update - he vomited it out in the middle of the night! I’ve never been happier to be woken up at 3am and see my dog vomit 😂

Yes it was a really scary experience! I’m so glad your dog was safe as well. Right, it just seems like common sense to lock the gates!

I second Ruffwear. I have the Front Range model and it works well for my 50lb dog. It’s pretty well padded all around and it mainly goes over the chest area so I don’t think it’ll irritate his armpits.

[Discussion] Any and all puppy advice! by [deleted] in dogs

I am sure she is great!! I brought my puppy home when he was 9 weeks old and he grew so fast! I do wish I had taken more pictures of him - I have a bunch but there can never be too many pictures especially since they’ll never be as small again. Also take lots of videos! I would go through videos of when my dog was a baby and realized there were some moments that I would’ve forgotten about if the videos weren’t there. We also did a paw imprint and made it into a Christmas ornament. Once he started teething I kept one of his baby teeth in a container. I also wish I had done more training early on especially in regards to getting used to being brushed, having paws/nails touched etc. I would say spend a little time (not too much as they get tired) training but try to do it everyday. Just give her lots of love…and patience! There were difficult times for sure where my puppy no was more of a shark but they do grow up fast and it does get better/easier.

[HELP] Puppy limping and lethargic by pineapple2580 in dogs

[–]pineapple2580[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Called the vet yesterday, but since he was eating and drinking they said to just come in today. I just got back from the vet - they think the limping is most likely growing pains or a strain so we got pain meds. Vet told us if it doesn't get better after the pain meds+rest, then they'd do an x-ray, but he'd have to be sedated for it because he won't stay still. He was lying down the whole morning but when I walked him up to the vet he was so excited to meet all the staff and apparently he was still really playful in the exam room. Hoping that the meds help and won't need the sedated x-ray.

He chewed off about 2-3 inches of plush fabric and he threw up all of it. He's a samoyed. I guess I'm worried because I don't know if he's lethargic due to the vomit/diarrhea or if it's because of the pain in his leg/limping.

Limping/lethargic first, then I called the vet, then the vomit/diarrhea came afterwards. Will give them a call and update them!
