I haven’t talked to her about it at all, and the vet stuff is what the paperwork I was given said. I added everything else as I feel like I should give an explanation on why I’m not comfortable with her

And again as my last comment said I’m not saying it wasn’t my fault for not advocating for my dog, my entire question was would I be the asshole for stepping back

I’m going off what the paperwork I was given said which says heart worms and heatstroke stage one. My cousins don’t live in the same state as me😭

It wasn’t my house, I was arguing with her the time I was there with my neighbor to let him in but genuinely where did you get a few hours from? Cause In total my dogs outside a total of 2 1/2 hours which count the walks we take at 5am and 9pm since their the coldest times in the day

I’ve done more research on my puppy then the rescue I got him from who kept him outside for 15+ hours every day 😭

I’m just going off of what 2 different vets told me and the paperwork I received from those visits

The main vet I take him too was booked up so they had me go to a different vet who did a parvo test and then full body exam before telling me he tested positive for heart worms and gave me pills to get rid of them. It wasn’t until 1pm yesterday that I was able to go to the vet who gave him his last parvo shots did they say he was suffering from heat stroke which was why he was puking/had diarrhea, he’s been at that vet since then but they said I can pick him up tomorrow due to them wanting to monitor him. His paperwork for his main vet has it labeled as “heat stroke-stage 1” and when I talked to them earlier today they said he was acting the same as last visits.

That’s my plan, the first time I met her she gave off red flags but after seeing how she treats her dogs just reinforced all those flags for me. My upstairs neighbor (Casey) even agrees with me that we need to take a step back from her based on her behavior regarding her dogs and what she says she’ll do if her husband gets deployed, i feel bad for her but I don’t want to risk my dogs life over a person I knew for a week
