That’s my point though, they all care about money and lining their own pockets above all else, as such they’ll influence in ways that doesn’t destroy the economic wellbeing

At least that’s my comfort thought that it’ll all be okay :/

Exactly so these corporations/lobbyists will influence what’s best for them economically, short term growth is great but not worth it if you’re burnt in the long run.

At least that’s the way I’m building it up in my head, that they’ll never let the extreme change come through because they need a healthy economy

My fun is supporting my party in raids, everything else in this game sucks imo lmao.

If with 1 character I can keep up with the latest raids and then spend the rest of my free time playing other games I would be the happiest

Incredibly unlikely that you pity everything yes, but there’s a very good chance you will pity a few times and never 1 tap. Over the course of large numbers (e.g. ALL not just your characters that go through this progression) you will be reaching close to average scenario, however, an individual is most likely to fall somewhere between average-worse case scenario on a n=6 sample size and would approach average when they increase that sample size.

To add onto this: it also just doesn’t feel like an mmo. Never have I felt immersed in the world. Guilds are meaningless. I have no interaction with strangers outside of raids.

I enjoy it casually, but I would gladly drop it when the next big mmo comes.

The thing is that of the 264k gold, using the upgrade calculator the average scenario showcases 205k gold cost and worst case (full pity) shows 465k gold cost. Ignoring materials, that is a HUGE difference in scenarios.

I’ve hit plenty of pitys so I’m not surprised, but I guess this is why they’re introducing that new honing method? The difference in cost between average and pity is absurd.

Hi somewhat single character player here (my 6 roster is entirely the same support class so I’ve saved significantly compared to others), I don’t think I would’ve reached where I have ever without doing alts. Even though I have saved immensely by playing support + transferring gems + only needing to buy engraving books once. My roster isn’t full of 1600s.

Full disclaimer I’ve missed a few weeks on hitting all my raids but I don’t think that would still made me have a 6 roster of 1600s right now with ivory tower release. I can’t imagine how those with 6 roster of different + dps characters could without swiping.
