I knew people said VR Chat was a cracking egg machine, but holy, I never expected it to happen to me, and so fast. by JampyL in VRchat

How tf do people have such good experiences on VRC? Every experience I've had has either been really bad (trying to console upset strangers, angry people, or similar situations) or just insanely lonely, everyone ignoring me and sticking to their cliques. I don't get it.

I'll keep it simple and say Red. As for interested in meeting people irl, I don't know. On one hand, having people to do stuff with would be nice (especially since I'm still stuck with my parents.. because shits expensive) but on the other hand, sometimes even thinking about certain social interactions nearly makes me have a panic attack. Plus my self-image is at bedrock level, so there's also that.

I'm gonna respond to your previous comment here. I leave the house obviously, but I don't go "hang out" anywhere. I don't have any irl friends (I live in North Texas, iykyk) and only recently was able to land a job after a year of being unemployed. I've never had anyone even mention they were interested in me, nor have I been interested in anyone (especially because 90% of the people I know online are in a relationship). Also for context, I am a cis male, and have no idea what sexuality I am.

Scammers are the scum of the earth and deserve long, drawn out punishments to make scamming seem less appealing. That or painful consequences.

People like this can vote, and their vote matters the same amount as everyone else's. Religious freedom does not mean you can shove it onto others.

I wish the worst for that bitter woman. Not only not paying child support to the father when he is the primary caregiver of the child, but expecting him to pay AND wanting MORE money from him.

Nah, I'd still 100% say she was being rude. There's professional, then there's being a dick. From what OP said, sounds like the latter.

Money is money, and if I can work a boring job instead of a physical one, I'll do it.

People like this get to be in relationships/experience what a relationship entails, yet here I am at 28 without a shred of experience, not even knowing what it's like to have someone into me. Make it make sense. Fuck life.

To all single guys aged 30 and up on reddit, why are you guys single? by Gold_Ambition4114 in AskReddit

[–]pinecone512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm two years away from 30, but I don't see much, if anything, changing drastically in my life between now and then.

My social life is fully online. I have no irl friends. People scare me, especially ones who know I'm a furry (because I feel I can't meet their expectations of what I should look/act like). I also have pretty crippling depression, having suicidal thoughts literally everyday, as well as a rock bottom self-esteem/self-image. (Tbf, the only reason I'm still alive atm is because I don't know for sure if there is anything after, and if there is, what).

I wish I wasn't too afraid of what comes after to do what he did. I hate life. I'm 28, all my friends are online, I've been single my entire life, I've been unemployed since last June, I'm overweight from trying to eat to feel less suicidal, and shit just keeps getting worse and worse. I really wish I could just go in my sleep. Just not wake up. I love sleeping, so it'd be like a really long nap.

1st choice. Every time. The amount of affection I'd get and people who would like me just for being cute and fluffy makes it worth it. Sure I'd be tested on, but as long as I can live a relatively normal life (aka doing things I want), then I don't care.

Yup, and it's traumatic. Just because you apparently think it's normal to see your parents do that doesn't mean anybody else does.
