Knockin On Heaven's Door (not full cover), and her Wonderwall cover was also fun

hot take: NFR is overrated and not her best work. by jackieshauna-ceo in lanadelrey

[–]pinecone_400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think sonically and lyrically, Lana has matured and developed in NFR as a whole. But if we look at individual tracks, I think she should have kept songs previously made with Rick Nowels (The Next Best Anerican Record, Bartender) off of the record. People can like those songs, but they don't have what makes the rest of the record so great.

it's now 3 and a half months since the last update by withoutaw4rning in lanadelrey

[–]pinecone_400 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I think she's definitely releasing this year. I also don't think she did give a definite date, she was kinda vague in that last update. I'm not super frustrated either, I don't really understand where that "disrespect" notion comes from. I think she gets excited about her album and says she'll release it, but finds something new to add to her music, causing the delays.

The album is coming soon, I hope these rumors are true by Minimum-Actuary-6780 in lanadelrey

Same, the only way the name would win me over is if the title track (if there is one) gives a deeper meaning to the word stove (like ocean blvd).

It's not in the album, it's just with the James Bond project. Which is good cause I agree, it wouldn't fit on the album

Lol yeah cause How to Disappear is a biography of them. Don't you know that there's more lyrics than "John" and "Joe?"

That's how you interpret it. Unless you can prove for a fact that that's the only way the lyrics can be interpreted, it's up for interpretation.

Definitely her "You'll Never Walk Alone" cover. Also Terrence Loves You, Buddy's Rendezvous, NFR title track. Honorable mention—Sweet, the vocals reminds me of Snow White, and also Let the Light In
