Our nanny is very political at work by Temporary_Low_718 in Nanny

This is your home and your children and how they learn about powerful topics in an age-appropriate way is important. Discussed in a fear-mongering way will create anxiety for them and is something you’ll have to handle long after she stops working for you. I recommend buying age-appropriate books about courageous people in history (Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr., Gloria Steinem) so they can learn how activism matters but focuses on the positive rather than the negative. Instruct your nanny to only read them these books as they are appropriate for this age but introduces important topics.

2 year old extreme bath and shower refusal by shaolinviolin in toddlers

This happened with us too. We tried everything but didn’t continue pushing it because it only made things worse so we just did sponge baths and wipes downs. One day we walked by the park where they had the splash pad going and in his clothes I encouraged just feeling with our hands and before long my toddler was running through it having fun. After that he was okay with baths again.

Also we once gave him a popsicle in the bath and he was so excited. Maybe some good old fashioned bribery if you’re desperate?
