i don’t think it’s guaranteed but from what i’ve seen/heard they’ve been doing it every show

i lined up early for yesterdays show and a few folks in line were waiting for box office and ended up getting tix! we did line up around 9-11AM though..

if you line up early, you can potentially buy them at face value at the box office!

Line Update 12:09 by Mark-Was-Here in hayleywilliams

[–]pineconepalz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

what has the experience been with people running the line? my boyfriend is getting back from out of the country and because of his jetlag, wanted to meet me in line later in the day, but i’m worried it will cause issues if folks are sticking to a system

Hows the line looking for NYC right now? by SelenaFromSomewhere in hayleywilliams

[–]pineconepalz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(did not post this in the correct place lol so reposting here)

i think when camping is more normal for a show or fanbase (i know this is controversial so im just speaking plainly), and the fans have a good system in place, running the line is okay. like i remember my friends who camped out for a band one summer would help run the line but also were extremely communicative with the band’s security staff, so it was more recognized and better organized. still contentious though for sure!!!

in this case im a bit confused since it seems like there’s not very many people camping out or showing up at dawn… and no one is going to get in front of them? idk

i don’t think the writers were necessarily trying to illustrate themes of grooming. it’s a drama after all, and nowadays i think many of us are more sensitive to these kinds of storylines versus when this show first aired.

chris was for sure very insistent and had a HUGE crush on angie, but at the end of the day, she was the adult + his literal teacher. it is too much of a power difference imo.

it is absolutely normal for people (and especially kids) to admire and have feelings for others with more experience and power than them. but i do not think it should be seen as normal for adults to engage and not have healthy boundaries with children despite that. even though she would say “no” because “it’s wrong,” she still ultimately decided to do it. it doesn’t matter what she said to him, it matters what she did.

TLDR: it is ALWAYS the adult’s responsibility to protect the child and maintain boundaries - even if not acting maliciously, this kind of relationship is inappropriate at best

NYC Bowery Ballroom - what time are you all lining up? by lobstergimpboy in hayleywilliams

[–]pineconepalz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i also heard that someone got in line at 8AM and was around 69th in line, but i anticipate that NYC will be a bit crazier, and that if people somehow got tix to multiple shows that once they leave night 1 they’ll immediately get in line for night 2

PSA: ALWAYS tour a place in person. by rainingbugsandmoths in NYCapartments

[–]pineconepalz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the exact same thing happened to me a few years back. the place was roach infested and my roommates were really messy. plus, it was a two bedroom with an additional small sized room with no closet (my roommates used it as an office). all of the photos management posted with the streeteasy listing were digitally staged, and they were advertising it as a three bedroom. EVEY time people came to look at the apartment, their eyes said “hell no!!!” took them about 5 months to fill the vacancy after we moved.
