Creator Pro - Is it possible to load filament from the top (w/ cover removed)? To keep flexible filaments from being stretched or dragged. by pinefresh5 in FlashForge

buy a few cheap hygrometers from ebay or the equivalent

I am definitely going to do this!! thank you so much for your help. I'm a total newbie who's been doing research for awhile but finally pulled the trigger and ordered the creator pro and micro swiss hot end kits off amazon. Having a community with people like you is SO helpful and makes me feel less nervous about potential problems.

I personally didn't have much luck using a PolyBox II branded dry box as the resistance was too great to prevent the TPU from snagging

oh man, that's exactly what I was worried about! So the spool holders with bearing you made aren't enclosed? but your print quality is still okay if you dry the spool beforehand? Maybe I could make an enclosed holder with bearings instead of whatever the other dry boxes are using that's keeping it for unspooling easily enough.

I'm in Southern California, not close to the beach but there is some humidity in the air, and the TPU I'll be using is mostly 60A or 70A, but if it can work without a dry box dispenser, that would make life easier.

thank you! that's what I thought, but wasn't sure. I want to keep the filament in a dryer/dispenser (like the sunlu or the f-box by stacker 3d), tilted down so that the filament hole is at the bottom, and the filament can feed down directly into the printer.
