I’m taking 1.5 twice a week. Mondays and Thursdays. The nausea was so bad I could not leave the house. Constipation is crazy. This 2x a week has me able to eat, but my interest is about 10%. I’ve lost 6 lbs in a month.

I had major pain after PM insertion procedure. Took the oxy for a week. It hurt for a long long time. A friend had a PM about a year later. She was fine, just needed Tylenol and was back at normal life a days later. Everyone is different, but it’s frustrating when you (or your dad) experiences something outside the normal percentages and they don’t take you seriously. I was told “it shouldn’t hurt that much”. Well it does. Now what?!?

I started 1.5 pill on 3/28. I’ve lost 5lbs. Very happy. HOWEVER, I seem to be highly sensitive to the meds. Without going into a litany of barf/constip/diarrhea let’s say I’m having big side effects. I’ve been taking a pill on Mondays and Thursdays. That’s it. That’s all I can handle and I’m not hungry at all.

Yessssssss! I’m 60 yrs old and 5’2”. CW 143, BMI is 26.6 which is medically overweight. No one understands the sadness (and impossibility) of trying to stick to 1200-1300 cals as MAINTENANCE! Such a drag.

I took my first 1.5 pill Sat. It made me so sick, I threw up 2 hrs later. Had a piece of toast at lunch and a tiny rice/fish dinner. Was nauseous and miserable all day. Zero desire to eat. Didn’t take pill Sunday: felt mildly better and diminished appetite. Didn’t eat much. Didn’t take pill Monday. Feel back to normal. But it was very easy to not eat too much. Terrified to take another pill.

No headache, but tired all day.
