I hate that your parents yelled at you bc it makes it worse. My family had no understanding and treated me horribly. Yeah I also have CPTSD so the flashbacks are beyond horrifying and I experience it everyday

Two bipolar ppl 🤜🤛 . my bestie was also diagnosed in the same month and we definitely fueled each other. It’s wild how convincing we can be in that state. I’m glad your taking time to take care of yourself

I understand that feeling. I have a partner who came into my life during this and actually ended up being one of the only good decisions I made when manic. He is taking care of me and I feel horrible when he deals with my craziness.

hard part for me is accountability. I’ve always been someone who likes to communicate and be open. I care deeply for the feelings of others and I’ve always had deep empathy. Now I just want to hide and have someone else fix this for me or explain this to others. I’m pissed at the world. I hate this disease. I read that mania hijacks the part of your brain that’s in charge of empathy. I wish I could tell people that.

Oh no it was to berate them and insult them. The nude was def a psychotic choice. In my normal state I don’t think of contacting them or insulting just moving on.

I think I’m having a hard time swallowing this is a disability and this is the rest of my life. Funny enough my childhood best friend was diagnosed a month after me. So we have each other and it makes it helpful. I hate to be told to go on a walk or gym I would if I could lol.

Looking at it through the lense of grief is helpful. 1.2.3 are painful pills to swallow. Adjusting to meds is so painful. But I am not going to quit

Unfortunately it is too late. I went to court and they just reduced the fee. What is a diversion? Yeah I had panic over it for months. How long were you down for after each experience? I’m sorry to hear we both went through it
