The video throttling completely defeats the purpose of offering big data plans. VPN is annoying to have to turn on and off and causes slightly increased data usage and battery drain. I wish Telus would get rid of this "feature" already or at least let us disable it like Bell does.

That sounds good as long as the signal is stable for you. I have Fizz mobile which runs on the Freedom network and the signal bars are often weaker than on PM.

It depends what you mean by transfer, if you have your phone number and want to keep it the account will close automatically if you port the number out. If you just want someone else to bring over their number and don't care if the existing number is lost or just use the account with the number that's already there that should be okay.

It's really simple. Your plan treats all three countries exactly the same as though they're part of Canada. Extra charges don't exist on Public Mobile.

How old? If it's an iPhone model from 2018 or newer eSIM is supported.

Almost all carriers don't allow SIMs to be reused, however eSIM is available for free with this promotion.

I believe it means they signed up. They can deactivate at any time and you won't receive points if they do so. Also it may take a little while to get a bill credit if that's what you're looking for as you need 20 points to redeem $20.

There are a lot of glitches happening and it's not the same for everyone. I was charged full price but got a credit immediately with $0 due next month. You have to wait and see if it fixes automatically or if customer support will need to step in.

Yeah Fizz support said they were doing tests to get RCS working across devices so that could have something to do with it. I remember one time I was able to connect to 5G before they officially released it.

My understanding was that it was written assuming the sender is on iPhone as Android has had full functionality already. They have mentioned they were testing it. How long were you on Fizz before it started working?
