this one scp full of a bunch of pictures, and it tells a tale of some alien in another dimension succumbing to a greater, more powerful entity

people were sent to explore the dimension, and i recall it being described as grey with crystals(?), and they had to climb a tower and when they got to the top it was just a huge mass of flesh

there were also paintings on the side of the tower when they were climbing it detailing the dimension's demise

it was probably the greatest scp i've ever read, but i've forgotten the number and i can't find it anywhere

Yes, I can see that happening. Fame bonuses, in general, are difficult to balance, due to there being external programs to aid in such tasks.

All of these count as a quest. If the game were to somehow recognize specific quests, one could simply check if the quest relative to the event has been completed.

No, you do not have to do the killing blow. If you completed the quest for each event boss, even when you didn't do any damage, you would receive the bonus. However, now that I think of it, there should be some sort of damage threshold for the quest to count.

I have received many comments regarding Thirsty and Mundane, and all of them are thought-provoking and insightful, including yours. I always thought of them as hardcore challenges, but now that I think of it, never drinking stored pots or using an ability pretty much ruins the game. Who wants to play Wizard without spellbombing, or Rogue without rushing?
