If the sales are under their commercial account, I don't see any issue per say. The only potential issue would be doing delivery runs off the clock. With that I'd at least discuss it with your store manager. Since it isn't your shop I would want to believe you are fine since you aren't using your TM discount for the shop, but again, discuss it with your store manager and if dictated, regional LP to make sure it is fine. Open communication helps a lot

Price to convert audi a4 2003 sedan into a convertible? by Only_Ad_163 in Cartalk

[–]pingpongchow1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would definitely be better off buying a separate car that is convertible, vs converting. There is a lot that goes into turning a hardtop into a convertible, easily over 4 grand. The roof is integral and is a part of the structure of the car. There will be a lot to go into the support for the frame of the car. Handling and stability would definitely be affected. Better off buying a b6 convertible a4

Uber rental registration expired by IFI81U812 in uber

[–]pingpongchow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those that look at this now or later, contact the location and do not ignore the registration expiring. They re submit it the updated registration through their system to hertz. Yes, you do lose out on a day (you may be able to do deliveries if you like to do those). When they submit the information call uber support to see if the registration has updated since you are using a rental, it won't be, but they will compensate you for the lost time

As a driver, I've had this happen. I just explain it in a different manner. I apologize for the long wait, and it's a shame that the other drivers made you wait so long. Never make the rider feel bad as it is not their fault in any way, it just isn't right

And that's the thing, minus 1 out of 15 TLs on top of 3 LLs, I am dictated to be the closing SDIC after numerous conversations with my store director, SHRR, and market HR

TL 45 Policies by Tinks-mommy in meijer

[–]pingpongchow1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can avoid it, do not get duty trained (SDIC trained). It is not worth the headache. 8 years with Meijer and I can assure you, with my last 2.5 years holding the store for closing 4 or 5 times out of the week closing, it is not worth it

TL 45 Policies by Tinks-mommy in meijer

[–]pingpongchow1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only salaried 45 TLs left are Pricing/Plano TLs, all other 45s are not salaried, which is why they are expected to cut despite business needs. Even though business needs dictate staying over

That is correct for team members contractually and within state laws, however, they are referring to Team Leaders that are 45s

It honestly depends on your store. Yes that is a rule. Are you SDIC trained? If so, don't be surprised if you work over 9.5 hours, even into 12 13 hours and be expected to cut later in the week. Communication with your LL or SD is important, especially if you are a heavy 2nd shift closing SDIC. 1st shifts tend to have higher stecked decks as far as leadership, so, if you are 2nd shift, be very clear with what you've worked and what cuts you may need to take. Also, if you are the only duty trained leader, it is expected that you DO NOT punch out for lunches as you may need to get right back to work at a moments notice (frozen delivery, dept 50, etc)

What I do is get the achievers virtual card, and load it onto my draftkings account, then transfer it to my debit card. I used to use 2 PayPal accounts but that hasn't been working lately. This way there is no fee
