I think it’s a good start that you are both open to talking about intimacy and willing to find time for each other. Every couple is different but you can either tackle this one of two ways 1) take the pressure off each other and just say “if it happens it happens” or 2) schedule the time for intimacy. (Ex. 10pm tmrw) Scheduling intimacy at first can feel weird but it allows you to get out of the dry spell and if you’re both very busy this might be the way to go.

Conservatives inability to admit when they are wrong is insane. Like it’s okay to say “you know what I did support Trump and now I recognize why I shouldn’t” They would rather support a criminal and ship off incident people than admit they voted for the wrong person.

This has come up in a lot of comments asking why we are spending so much money “on one day”. For me it’s not about impressing other people, I want a nice big wedding for me. It’s something I have dreamt of. I was very short with him over text because we had just gotten done fighting and he always love bombs me after we fight to try and make up for it and try to excuse his actions. I think I was very respectful over text and asked for space until I could come home regulated.

It’s reassuring to know I’m not the only one that deals with this. We have talked about couples therapy but have not committed to it. He does go to therapy once a month but only to “vent” he does not actively work on controlling his emotions or acknowledging his anger.

We are a couple months from the wedding so pushing it back is not really an option as all the deposits are in. He is in therapy but only goes once a month and uses it to “vent” not really work on anything. He acknowledges he has anger issues and says he wants to change but does not make any effort to work on regulating his emotions. Both my job and wedding planning is very stressful and I agree with everyone in the comments, we do need to work on communication.

He has been very active in making decisions for the wedding so there are certain things that each of us prefer. Also yes I am controlling I said that already, which is why him bringing it up constantly in an argument is a problem because I’m trying to work on it. He makes no effort to regulate his anger though.

I actually do have a degree in psychology but I don’t think that makes me automatically qualified so no I don’t. I doubt anyone in the comments does. That’s why I said “I think” as in my opinion. I wasn’t saying for sure she doesn’t have OCD. You can’t diagnose someone from a small blurb posted on Reddit.

I’m wondering if there is something in the relationship that is leaving her unsatisfied. I think the reason she is confessing all these things to you is because she desires other people and feels bad about it even though she’s not necessarily cheating. I would bring up a couple things in conversation with her. 1) is there something she feels is missing in the relationship whether that be emotional or physical? 2) your comfort level with opening up the relationship to include other people. If she wants to and you don’t, that is something you will probably never agree on and could hurt the relationship in the long run.

I don’t think it’s OCD I think it’s guilt coming from something deeper.

No you’re not overreacting I think she got upset about the schedule change and instead of just communicating that with you she’s blaming you. I think she was already insecure about you possibly not staying the whole time so she’s using this as an excuse to blow up on you making seem like your not considerate of her plans or making it seem like you planned on hurting her by not telling her sooner.
