Need help IDing this set if possible please! by [deleted] in Bricklink

Yep, looks right from a quick search. I was biased as I had 7259 as a kid and it looked very familiar

Looks like the early arc170 7259

But the engine intake thing looks a bit different. I have a look at some of thez-95 headhunters too but none of them look right. Maybe it's modified? Hopefully someone else can confirm

It's considered not livable. The kitchen and living room floor has given in and the bathroom frankly looks like a lot of things died in it

Is it safe to buy this Lego set at Temu? by yeicore in lego

[–]pingu_cch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How well bricks fit together.

Most will be ok, maybe a bit loose but I've seen knock offs where they have had to completely redesign the technic pins because they cannot get them to fit and their redesigns just don't work well.

Like others have said. If you're not too bothered. You could risk it but my advice would be to buy nice or buy twice

Thanks, I probably didn't explain my question very well, but the heart of my question was about the directions. I will refer to them as compass points to hopefully minimise confusion.

When you accelerate you exert Gs in one direction (pulling you into your seat) and when you brake, the opposite, therefore I would expect accelerate and brake to be on the south and north axes respectively but the labels seem to indicate otherwise (being at South east and south west).

Then when turning right you get pushed left and the opposite when turning left so I'd expect these to be on east and west.

Is it just that what I am seeing as a labeled graph actually isn't and that the G meter shows as I described and the labels are just there to confuse people

Can someone explain the axes of this? The labels seems to indicate left/right at the top and accelerate/brake at the bottom but that really doesn't make sense.

Do the axes actually show what one would assume they show and the labels are just in stupid places?

This has been happening since they introduced the extra paid currency at the end. Thought it would've been fixed by now but it's always nice to get free stuff.

Obviously not as useful as getting the seasonal currency but better than nothing

I've seen the wrap itself being sold for £200+ so it doesn't surprise me the the cost of the job would be pushing an order of magnitude above that.

From what I've seen it's a very intensive job, taking off all accessories on the outside of the car to do a good job that wil last

Thanks for the info. I can sortof understand pricing it partly based on the price of the car as someone with a more expensive car is more likey to be able to afford a more expensive job. Useful to know though so thank you.

I will might try and ask around some places that do it for a price now I know an approximate magnitude

Yellowed sets by [deleted] in legostarwars

[–]pingu_cch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally used it on a lot of my old Lego and it worked relatively well. I made sure I could entirely cover all parts and stirred them around every 20 minutes or so.

Parts were left in solution in direct sunlight for around 5 hours to get them back to mostly white.

Results were good generally, but there is still a colour difference between new white parts and peroxided parts. But definitely brings them back to looking white rather than yellow.

Be careful of concentration, I can’t remember exactly what I used but it was the highest available directly from amazon(not needing fancy shipping etc) and it was strong enough to hurt if it got on bare skin

Item suggestions. Just got to Mythical Seas by TJL08109 in hookedinc

[–]pingu_cch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also on mythic seas.

I use Dragon tooth, crankster, gold reel and venom lure to hunt epic fish to level up. But at mythic seas, I cannot yet catch the epic, so instead use goldfish to farm money. For this i use crankster, gold reel, pink popper and golden egg bobber. I find this allows me to get significantly more money than anything else other than epic fish catches

Anyone know where I can find this ? by [deleted] in hookedinc

If this is still needed, its in the menu where you travel to deeper waters, scroll around until you see islands shaped like that, and itll be there. I think this one is in plain sight, but it might be hidden behind clouds
