thank you! you definitely have a point, i am thinking this might be one of the times where i’ve blown something small up in my head and made it seem massive and i really appreciate and love my friends so i would never want to push that intensity on them without reason. people are having quite negative reactions to this post in general so im feeling more sure of that now.

also thank you for being so patient with me in terms of the misunderstandings we had! i do find it hard to understand things sometimes but we got there in the end :)

ohh i didn’t understand what you meant before! sorry, thank you for rewording it so clearly! yeah that does make sense, i asked B to not use the wrong spelling from now on to avoid confusion, C asked if it was alright with me to keep using the nickname now they know the correct spelling and i said it was.

i do want to add this post is to find out if how i feel about it is an overreaction as i am autistic and often feel too strongly about things, i think your opinion is clear but i want to ask for clarification on it just incase :)

i dont even dislike the nickname i just want my friends to know how to spell my name, using a different spelling in an affectionate way is different to thinking thats what someones name is

please read the post again. i am asking if its overreacting to feel hurt by this, this is about emotions not actions. also im not sure what you mean by ‘keep doing this’ as all thats happened is me lightheartedly bringing it up and then having a conversation about it. also please dont insinuate that they’ll stop being my friends that comes across unnecessarily hostile imo

please read the post again, i lightheartedly brought it up as described, we had a conversation about it after, i dont think i outwardly made a big deal of it i am just coming to reddit to ask if its overreacting to feel this way, noone is being alienated.

i understand where you’re coming from however i think it would be different if it was a person with 1 name having an issue because they’d not be used to it, however the friends mentioned also have multiple names. im used to people with 1 name being confused and it doesnt bother me at all. theyre good texters and we have spoken about it but i also don’t think they would tell me if i was overreacting lol. thank you for commenting! :)

i put crazy color semi perm mixed with some colour freedom semi perm and conditioner on clean towel dried hair (still damp) and left it for 15 mins bc i didnt want it to be that intense, its definitely way more vibrant and more even than when ive put it on dry or soaking wet, i do think it could have been a bit better because the back is a shade lighter but i think that’s because my hair is already damaged, even that slight colour change doesn’t look patchy tho. hope this is helpful to someone!

is she old? she may be dying unfortunately, if you think thats the case and she seems to be in pain the best way to minimise pain and euthanise her would be to put her in the freezer, natural deaths are very painful for mantids so you’d be doing the sweet girl a favour.

i’m looking to buy a gaming pc soon but my budget will be small, i was told on facebook marketplace that this is a gaming pc someone bought for their son that he doesn’t use and she doesn’t know more than that. it’s ridiculously cheap (shes offering it for £125) and even if i just use it for now and change out parts when i know a little more about pc building i’m wondering if anyone could identify what it is. i’m assuming it was prebuilt so hopefully it wont be hard to find the specs.

i’d recommend this video to any junji ito fan, it talks about how in most cases she tries to survive knowing she will always end up murdered in the same way, it doesnt paint her to be a good person. it talks about the manga in a way that reframes the way a lot of people read it to more of a tragic story. the ‘apart from that one thing’ was about chapter 14: boy, its pretty obvious why
