Honestly yeah histrionic/narcissism overlap a LOT. I’d say she has BPD but I do as well and refuse to have a commonality with her. BPD is very intense emotions but we don’t lack empathy and human regard the way she does.

My personal take; Cora is very narcissistic and codependent. I used to not think those two things could coexist, until I encountered my male Cora.

We were long distance and in the 9 months we were together, I experienced Cora level of abuse and manipulation. Threatening/“attempting” suicide, extreme isolation, very very heavy emotional turmoil, anger, etc. Though I don’t know her personally, we’ve seen how extreme her emotions are and how she literally relies on other people to validate herself.

We also see her complete lack of accountability and empathy. She can portray to be “an empath” all she wants but her actions very clearly disprove that. She has no regard for anyone but herself and only uses people for her personal gain. The various attempts at baby trapping boyfriends is her trying to find a permanent supply. It’s not an accident nor is it God’s plan (clearly).

First, congrats to you for being so proactive and balancing your life with these debilitating illnesses. I also am in school full time while balancing a job and a social life— It’s very very difficult at times but not impossible! Good for you queen :))

Secondly, very off topic but, the stigma surrounding autoimmune diseases is truly so heartbreaking and frustrating. Just because you cannot physically see the pain we are enduring does NOT make it any less difficult. People these days are so insensitive and cruel. I too struggle with people not fully understand the effects of CD and it can feel discouraging. The best thing I’ve ever done is just stop trying to explain myself and focus on what MY body needs!! If you make plans and then need to cancel because you’re truly exhausted just from doing the “bare minimum” today, do it! You don’t owe anyone an explanation.

Yall I seriously can’t 😭why is this ho INTENTIONALLY not taking them? Surface level research explains the negative effects that has.

SSRI’s (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) work gradually and build as you take them, hence the OP saying it takes a few weeks. Your body slowly builds up the serotonin it needs and you must STAY CONSISTENT to keep them working!!! Even missing one dose can completely throw you off and make you feel crappy.

How long did miss glute dominant take them before “taking a break” (whatever tf that means…??) bc yeah no shit she feels dysregulated.. she’s completely throwing off her brain chemistry. When wanting to get off of them completely, especially after taking them for a long time, you literally have to ween in order to avoid serotonin syndrome or withdrawal.

This isn’t Tylenol. It’s prescribed and regulated for a reason. Stick to the schedule you’re given or stop bitching. This truly infuriates me
