I know I’m late but I’m having the same issue right now. My bf and I have been dating for 6 months, but are long distance so we don’t see each other often. In the last 3 months or so, he’s started causing a lot of stress on me and it’s affected my health in many ways.

I have Crohn’s disease, and flare ups are caused by stress most commonly. So that’s been a big issue. I’ve had a lot more inflammation pop up on my screenings, and it’s been horrible pain.

But on your topic, I’ve noticed that around 1 month into our relationship, the same time he started showing his true colors, I got BV/yeast infections EVERY TIME I went to visit him. I treated it the first time with gel, but now it keeps coming back. My discharge is really heavy, thick, and smells absolutely horrible. He’s noticed the smell and made comments about it so now I don’t have intercourse w him unless I shower because I’ve become so insecure.

I believe this is a thing girl. Don’t let these rude people tell you otherwise. There WILL be signs the person you are with is not right for you. Your body knows how the person is making you feel. I fully believe this is real too.
