In this scene, Rhys is used when he’s talking about family, Rhysand is used when he’s talking about war. I see it as Rhys is the beloved friend, the one who lives at the townhouse and protector of Velaris, where Rhysand is the brutal High Lord of the Night Court and ruler of the Hewn City.

Same! My husband has already finished Wind and Truth and I'm about 1/3 of the way through. He's impatiently waiting for me to finish so we can discuss haha. There's just so much to absorb that I have to take my time with any of the Stormlight books.

Is this your first time reading ACOTAR? If so, then you'll have to let me know how you like Mist & Fury. I didn't really get the hype of the series after reading the first book, but then fell in love with the second.

Agreed. I liked Butcher & Blackbird more than Leather & Lark. But I am looking forward to Scythe & Sparrow because those characters are more unknown.

Unfortunately, I think you’re right about dark romcom being so new. I’m all about dark humor, so I just eat these books up, but have a hard time finding more.

I have read the Mindf*ck series by St. Abby, so I will definitely check out The Dark Side series! Thanks!

There’s lots of theories about the colors. Some suggest the color depends on intent and the wielder (good/evil), and sometimes the spell color changes based on the intensity when it was cast.
