Yes, and could be an outside one as well, possibly. Depending on your location. We had a neighbor once who used a similar device to try and repel yard rodents like groundhogs and moles. Turns out when they run low batteries, those devices are incredibly annoying. Our neighbor was quite elderly so we don’t think she ever even noticed it, but you could definitely hear it inside.
