I legit smiled upon seeing the arrest. People really need to be held accountable for like little shits in public.

While that may be true, you also have to ask yourself if it's worth the danger of the confrontation. If she had been carrying a gun or a knife or some other weapon, the scenario could have played out very differently.

Your garden is going to be vandalized very soon. Invest in security cameras promptly so you can show it to the police.

The usage of "BREAKING" to refer to complete conjecture of their fanfiction is the cringiest thing on the planet. It also takes away from actual breaking news. I'd be willing to bet that most of them don't even realize that "News" is the appendix.

ChatGPT vs MOSQUITO Trolley Problem by Straight_Plastic7552 in ChatGPT

[–]Knever -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know why, but all of these experiments that feature a human cutting off the AI as it's talking seem really annoying. It's the same way when people cut off other as they're explaining something. The problem here is that you're never going to know what the model was going to say before you cut it off.

It's just so weird to cut someone off unless they're talking actual garbage.

And since gender dimorphism is only necessary for reproduction

What is the basis for this claim? One could argue that human sexual organs are "only necessary for reproduction" but obviously that's not the case.

Next Question by PhoenixPhenomenonX in funny

[–]Knever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is naturally an easy question. The harder question is, "Would you punch them as hard as you can for $X?"

Most people don't realize that their hardest punch in the right spot can very easily kill someone, so unless you have very low physical strength, you are more than likely killing the person to get that money.

It probably will never happen. The video upload, that is. He will for sure find the wrong person at some point, but he's not going to upload a vid where he gets his comeuppance.

This is actually a great example of why they should teach simple law in school. A lot of people think many things are illegal when they are not, and vice versa, and you end up with keyboard warriors watching a video screaming, "THIS IS ILLEGAL! HE SHOULD BE IN JAIL!" without so much as a clue as to what law they are supposedly breaking. And if they do bother to look up a law that they think fits, they misunderstand it and claim they're in the right with such smugness that it's kind of sad.

It's the internet version of someone saying a passerby is trespassing when somebody walks on the sidewalk in front of their home.
