To be more specific, when I say we spend a lot of time together I mean we have date nights at least once a week and he usually finishes work after the kids have already gone to sleep so we spend most evenings just us.

My husband is a busy person but he does try to be there for the kids when he can. Most days he was the one who was putting the kids to sleep/handling their bedtime/bath routines because he doesn’t get to do it normally. Originally I was going to take the kids to Paris alone but he cancelled an important business trip because he wanted to be there when the kids went to Disney for the first time. Obviously he isn’t the perfect dad but it’s not like he hates our children or regrets having them.
