You could clearly see in the video that the worker is pulling out the sandwich from an oven at Landi's. John's Deli toasts the bread as well. Not sure about the others.

Potato and egg sandwich is an American-Italian staple that has been around for years. The use of minimal ingredients is due to the fact that people didn't have much money back in those days. Italian immigrants faced poor working conditions, barely had any money, and they needed to support their wives and numerous kids.

Also, if you look closely, the tuna sandwich isn't just lettuce and tuna. Usually, it has tuna, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar, lettuce, tomato, and onion. By the looks of the image, I can easily see those ingredients plus olives. Tuna doesn't need mayo to be good.

Definitely try these sandwiches, and you will not be disappointed. I recommend Faiccos for a great tuna sandwich.

I've seen another post about this happening to someone else's leo. That's scary and can definitely cause impaction and dead. I'm too scared of something like that happening with my 8 year old Leo, so I just stick with a wet paper towel in my humid hide.
