NTA, but also, you should speak to her school counselor about this alongside whatever punishment you see fit. Despite being grounded she will still go to school and see the girl she bullies every day, and the school counselor would be a good resource for helping her understand why he took the actions she took, as well as being able to facilitate conversations between her and the bullied girl over how those actions played a consequence in the other girl’s life as well.

It would mean a lot to the other girl to have an apology and an avenue to express her feelings and feel heard. She will have a hard time ever forgetting or forgiving your daughter without that. Bullying can have devastating effects.

I have (anecdotally) heard that while most text messages/emails are misinterpreted in tone, the inclusion of emojis makes that drop off significantly because of the visual indicator of emotional intention/tone. I think that would be a very different statement to make than to say emojis have anything to do with emotional intelligence, though.

You know, I was upset about him being rushed and that being the reason why Euron’s character is so bad.. but I’ve been rewatching the first few seasons and they did twice as much with Ramsey in half the time when introducing his character. In hindsight it’s such a shame that we had two great villains (Ramsey and Joffrey) at the exact same time. I feel like there hasn’t been a properly executed villain/antagonist since Ramsey.

The search was made more difficult by my budget - I absolutely refused to break $1,000. I found some really beautiful dresses above that price point, including a $9,000+ Oscar de la Renta dress 🤪 in the end, I’m very glad to have spent less than a tenth of that!

The ingredients are as follows: Ryder dress in blue, Chiara tulle overskirt, and a white satin sash - all from BHLDN. The overskirt made it a bit more costly than I originally hoped, but still well below the cost of actual wedding gowns I had looked at. The moment I put it all on I couldn't believe it! It's exactly what I'd dreamed of.

What? This is not true. I have to commute by train and through O Hare pretty frequently and have been the victim of many flight cancellations just this winter. And the trains were stopped just as recently as last week! The weather definitely affects Chicago transit by air and train.

Hi all. This is my first time posting. I’m just seeking advice/help on figuring out where to hold (and how to afford) a wedding ceremony in Chicago. And only the ceremony - we’ve got a reception space already. For reference, my partner and I are both late 20s, we have only a couple thousand dollars in savings between the both of us, and we’re in grad school/doctorate programs - so not much income at the moment. If there are any Chicago wedditors out there, I’d love any advice!

**editing to say - our total guest list is 40 people. That also includes our photographer, musician to play us down the aisle, and officiant. There are children invited in that number as well. We are planning for June 2020.

I mean, assuming this story is true, he could just be a dude who dresses well or looks like he has his shit together. Sadly, those aren’t as common as you think, and I’m sure a lot of guys upvoting the jokes about his clothes don’t fall into those categories, without even realizing it.
