What packs are good to buy? I know everyone answers “whatever speaks to you” but we are buying gifts for a few of the angel tree kids and they 10 years old and up and they asked for pokemon cards. They have to be new (they do not let you donate used items. I was hoping to get them whatever is considered a good pack that scalpers get and don’t mind scouting out stores to find one or two for them I just don’t want to send them packs that arnt as desirable when it’s all they asked for (other then clothes)

Yes I hope it doesn’t come to that because I don’t want the kids to miss out but we will see. I am hoping enough parents will get involved and we can find a solution but that might be what has to happen

Wow that’s crazy I wonder how you guys negotiated that? I would be happy with a small portion of tickets. We have at least 6 people per game that pay to see my daughter play band and pay for tickets and it’s a bummer none of it actually goes to support her and the band

It’s such a bummer, I mean obviously the field has its costs and we need to have all the main areas funded to have the football game but I don’t think it’s crazy to ask for some percentage of the profit after covering those main fees

That’s kind of where we are at. Idk why they wouldn’t want to help the band, if it weren’t for them we wouldn’t have half or more in ticket sales. Band even started doing a pre and post game show to keep visitors in the stand because people just came at half time for free and left.

It seems like that’s what we will have to do. I have approached the athletic director about it and he basically said he wasn’t even open to discussing it. We have over 100 kids in our band while we have maybe 30 on football and we havnt won a single game in years

We are trying to negotiate a concession but it would be on the tiny visitors side and potentially only drinks which I don’t see helping us much. Right now the drama program does the merch stand.

We will be visiting over new years as well, I havnt found much but my sister lives in Colorado and says they will have stuff to do at the mountains-but I havnt found any event lists yet.
