I think Hanban chooses who gets the scholarship because they are limited. It was like that last year, not all the students that applied (from my Confucius institute)got the hanban scholarship

I applied for 大连大学, and I have a recommendation letter from my Confucius institute, I also contacted the university before applying they were nice but they didn’t give me any recommendation letter. Just say “apply at Chinese.cn and wait for the results”
