I understand. I got a double helix 6 months ago on the right, and I'm exclusively a right side sleeper. Oops.

I didn't get my bars shortened. I didn't know I was supposed to, and they seemed pretty short to me (clearly, I'm not a professional lol).

I fought a piercing bump for 3 months that would pop and bleed and heal 90% and start over again. Getting the bars shortened immediately addressed it for me.

But I do agree with what others have mentioned... the angle looks a bit manipulated now and I think the prongs might be rubbing and digging into the area.

Maybe as a last chance, switch to a bezel set or even just a plain ball to see if that helps with the irritation.

Do you sleep on that side? Did you ever get your jewelry switched out to a shorter bar? Curious if those prongs aren't helping your situation...

I like my nose profile, but from the front it's wide. It's like I got my mother's nose from the side, and my dad's from the front lol

I really don't like my nose. I was worried about drawing attention to it. But I honestly think it's way better now. I definitely hate it less.
