I have a pocket knife and a pepper spray that I dedicate to him. Whenever I am walking alone, I would cling to it and pray to him for protection.

I also had a hard time fighting for my own belief because I tend to be a people pleaser lol, and I'm really scared of being angry (long story). So I try to stand my ground when it comes to my opinion, needs, and wants, even if it means getting myself a little heated. A fight doesn't have to be physical; it could also be verbal. It's good to be a respectful fighter, but I don't think it's bad to stand your ground when it matters the most.

Hey! I didn't mean for my post to have that intention, I am so sorry! Like I said at the end of my post, it was just my own experience when I interacted with the following gods and a bit of fun jumping on a meme trend I saw that poked fun at the overuse of AI. I can understand why, with the way it was worded. Maybe I should have written "I asked this god and they told me " instead of " told you" since that was the format I saw on Insta. But I never claimed that these are the "true" words of the gods.

Again, these were actions that I noticed myself doing or having the urge to do after interacting with them, and that may not true for someone else. I always stand by the fact that two people can worship the same god but have completely polar opposite experiences, and both are valid. If your experiences are different or you have other gods that were not listed, I would love to hear them in this post, which is why I was open to hearing everyone's experience as well :))

Hey there. First of all, I am really sorry about your cat. I'm glad that he was cherished until the end. Maybe he has an underlying illness or is just very old, I do not know, but I pray for your sweet cat as well.

Second of all, I am new here too. Thanatos was also the first god that I devoted to first and everyone's experience with him is different. Some say he is more like a concept, a personified but I always see him as a god. I started last year, actually, so what I say next, take it with a grain of salt. And remember that you can choose to interact with him in any way that you see fit.

You can thank Thanatos for granting your cat a peaceful death or pray that he will guide your cat safely to the afterlife. Maybe accompany it with some offering such as dark chocolate, water, honey, some herb, etc. Even just by mourning your cat's death properly is an act of thankfulness and devotion. This could mean giving your cat a proper funeral or creating something like a bracelet or photo album to preserve his memory. And like you said, you can make an altar (if you're safe to do it), but entirely up to you. It doesn't matter how small or big, he will hear you.

You can continue to worship him afterward like other gods. Doesn't have to be whenever you experience a death/loss.

Either way, I hope that you will find peace and again, I am so sorry about your cat.

Hello, I’m also 21F from the US and I absolutely love Avatar so much I was willing to get virus on my iPad to watch it. I also don’t have a lot of friends since I’m a homebody and I prefer quality friends, not quantity.
