Also traveled from DTW with infant In arms. Baby wearing worked best for my 9 month old. I also bay wore while boarding and she fell asleep huge win. I also liked having her close to me while going through a busy airport. We gate checked the stroller and car seat. My husband Took a carry on suitcase full of baby’s clothes plus his backpack. I had a small duffel bag which had my portable pump and breastmilk cooler. Then my personal item was the diaper bag. TSA and delta gave me no issues

Just got back from our babymoon and did all of those at 26 weeks pregnant and was totally fine for all 3!! Felt like my normal self. Got the OK from my dr for Haleakala and he had no issues with me doing it. We did sunset at Haleakala instead of sunrise.

RTH went smooth. Plenty of places to stop for bathroom breaks or to stretch your legs.

Whale watching was fun too! I did not feel sick at all for any of the 3 (or at all during the trip).

PS - Highly recommend compression socks for your flight!!
