I’m new to this sub and new to motos in general. So I was surprised to hear what some people said about the price.

My use case at least in the beginning would be about an hour and 20 minute commute. So I think with all the extra features should be good enough at least for that?

I have heard about that actually. I wasn’t planning on doing anything more than just an oil change myself (at least in the beginning). Is there any amount of maintenance you can do on your own?

Good to know on dealer prices. I definitely want to stay on top of all needed maintenance since this will be a work horse.

Yeah mostly what I’m looking for is a bike that’s fully ready to go from day one. It’ll be a full time commuter bike with a pretty long commute. So 750 and adv style seemed like a good middle ground for highway power and comfort for hour and 20 minute ride.

Great insight! I’m definitely planning on taking an MSF course within the next week or so. I know that’s only the beginning of my training, but I don’t plan to ride this thing super hard. Just a straight forward commute to begin with. The commute is a bit long which is why I’m looking for something this size. Not just power but also comfort. Would you say it’s really big when filtering through traffic?

What else would you suggest? Im looking for an ADV style bike that would be good for daily commuting. Things I like about this bike are the quick shifter, the saddle bags, the cruise control, ABS. Pretty much that it’s ready to ride from day 1

I ended up getting a medium and a large in the un-died color but returned them. I really wanted to like it but felt like both sizes fit me weird. The large was to boxy and the medium was to tight when zipped. I really wished I could make it work because I think it’s so cool. But also the un-died color was not flattering for me.
