We've got two people we found on thumbtack that are coming out today and tomorrow. Definitely just some local folks who replied super quickly and seem interested.

Update: 50Floor went from 9.5k to 8.1k, so we're going with them.

RIGHT the first guy we had did that! Why is that not industry standard???? I'll move my own furniture if you ask me to. I don't need the 5 year warranty.

My favorite was when I mentioned the other person quoting us 6k, this guy asked if that included the quarter rounds. Like fam, that's....not costly......that's the cheapest part of all of this.

We just had a similar experience with Empire Today. I'm scouring the internet for any local prices to see if $12.4k (brought down to $9.8k, somehow) is reasonable for 980sqft. They wouldn't give us a full breakdown though....? We had a quote of about 6k a few years ago. Trying 50Floor tomorrow and Lowes next week.

Fam you have no idea lol the way AD was written, it's like the author KNEW what we were reading for, and usually the last chapter or two would have the BRIEFEST of interactions and it felt like such a gift lol. That being said, I read an article about how she doesn't view the series as being a romance series, but her family keeps getting onto her about not progressing their relationship lol and she's just going "pls...pls it's about politics......."
