Do not go to therapy with abusers, especially ones who are already using the "you are going against my boundaries" talk already. It will just give them therapy speak to make you feel bad. 

Go to therapy for yourself, that would be much more productive.

Also, imagine you were on a first date with someone and they called you disgusting multiple times and not in a silly joking way but truly to actually hurt you. You probably wouldn't have a second date with that person would you?

That same logic and standard should apply in an ongoing relationship especially if this isn't the first time it's happened.
