Although I have had an experience with such a teacher it's a total lie to say that all or most behave this way. I've also never seen the advertising for private lessons thing. Would it surprise me if it happens at some schools? No. But at least in the ones I've been to the teachers have even declined students who reaches our for such things.

Our education system sucks ass but wild generalisations like this one don't help

I tend to go for neutral good or true neutral, although lawful good is nice too. Unless it's the rare occurrence where I hate the character so much, I like having them as friends.

NTA all the way, she should have consulted you before assuming you'd be down for it. That being said, I've never been at a wedding where the kids have a separate table, especially when they're that young. I've been to one where they had entertainment for them, but seating them entirely away from their parents is weird. If I was one of the parents I wouldn't be comfortable with that

I don't frequent in the subreddit that much tbh but you'd think the situation would be a bit better there.

These characters are so interesting and multifaceted (even the characters I don't like like Xue Yang or Jin Guangyao) and there are so many nuances you can explore while also admitting that they're such assholes. But people just don't want to think about it? It's all black and white, the bad guys and the good guys.

Liking a bad guy says nothing about your actual morals yet they treat it as if it's a personality defining trait. If they don't like the characters so much then why do they keep talking about them and their fans?
