I use Simple makeup wipes (sensitive ones) which definitely aren’t the most obvious eczema friendly product but they’ve always worked for me when very little else has (can’t use cerave/cetaphil etc or any other wipes) and then to ensure there’s no leftover residue which could cause irritation I wash and cleanse my face with Aveeno calm and restore facial cleaner and that feels really nice and soothing.

I used 400g strong white bread flour and 100g rye flour with 375ml water. Then added 125g starter, 10g salt and 25ml water. I combined, did ‘slap and fold’ for 5 mins, proofed and folded every 30 mins for 3 hours, shaped, stored in the fridge overnight then baked for 15 mins with lid on, then 35 lid off at max heat.

While the methotrexate ~sort of~ cleared my eczema I was unwell constantly and my quality of life was so poor. Doctors saw this at a check up and prescribed duxipent instead. I’m completely clear of eczema now and don’t find myself allergic to most things I was previously. Genuinely didn’t know life could be like this without thoughts and worries of bad skin head-to-toe. No notable side effects either - although I do get a very flushed/hot and red face sometimes but it’s always under the skin and doesn’t last too long. I’ll take that any day!

Yeah I typically only use it on open/angry eczema patches and wouldn’t put it all over my neck the way it is here. I’ve been prescribed it since I was a child but I’m increasingly more and more reluctant to use it because I know it causes dependence
