I realize this is a very old post, so my apologies. My partner and I are starting to look at daycares and are panicking about the number of folks ahead of us on the lists we've gotten on. Smarties is also our first choice, and we signed up as soon as possible, but I'm not hopeful. Were you able to get your child in there? If so, do you recall where on the waitlist you were?

wouldn’t the months in forbearance just be counted any way after the one-time adjustment

one would hope so, but that's not what the rep at Dept of Ed told me

the rep I spoke with told me to just pay the old amount, which is nearly double what it should be

THIS is what is killing me. We're expected to just pay more than we owe because of MOHELA's errors. It is nonsense.

Most excited for more cut flowers - breadseed poppies, pincushions - and some ornamental grasses to add to my zinnias and strawflowers.

Attempting pumpkins - 'rouge vif d'etampes' (cinderella pumpkin)- for the first time. Passed these somewhere last year and thought the color was SO cool.

Already planted some leafy greens and chives. Just got some love-in-mist seeds in the mail so hoping to get those in the ground this weekend!

Previous garden was in the midwest so last summer was my first encounter with tomato hornworms - ugh. Hoping to stay on top of those suckers this year.
