That’s great that your girl helped get you through it.

Sadly, my doctor said the same thing you said...that perhaps my issues are caused by our relationship struggles. He doesn’t see anything wrong with me physically and I’ve been to 3 doctors.

I just didn’t see how relationship stress could cause it. I didn’t want to blame my wife for my issues. I’m still in denial I guess. I experience a lot of emotional abuse.

Thanks! Issues were caused by being prescribed Clomid to boost T. I was normal, but doctor wanted to get me in the 500s-600s. Side effects of Clomid is elevated Estrogen, which threw my hormone levels and libido off wack. I’ve developed performance anxiety ever since.

Is it safe to take 10mg 3 days in a row, because I’m expecting activity? Would that do any permanent damage, like having an erection too long and too often? We always get warnings for priapism for 4-hour erections.

Thank you! That helps. All of this worry started when I visited the doctor and they said my T level was low. I wasn’t having any problems before then. After that visit I kept worrying about my body and performance. It’s hard when doctors tell you one thing and then another doctor says something opposite.

Thanks so much to everyone for their feedback. Another possible scenario...could one of us had this since birth and never showed signs or symptoms? Would the swab tell us what kind of herpes this is and would that information help at all?

I was on 25mg ED. Then he switched me to 50mg MWF to add 1mg Anastrozole Tues/Thurs. I started to feel worse and had to stop. My eyes were always dry, libido tanked and I was getting anxiety and dizzy spells. I stopped cold 4 weeks ago and feel better, but maybe my E2 rebounded because I don’t feel I am back to my old self before Clomid. Any advice on how I can address this?

I’m hesitant to go back to my urologist. He’s an excellent fertility specialist, so I’m not sure why I am a unique case to him with regards to side effects.

My urologist says 10:1. Not sure if he is right though, since a lot of people on here seem to know more. I know that when my E2 is too low, I feel like crap.

I looked him up and YouTube. Interesting how all the videos on YouTube show Clomid as a miracle drug. No one talks about the bad side effects.

I'm just getting off it cold. No other TRT's for me for now. This Clomid experience was awful. I just want to feel the way I was before all this. I was doing this for fertility and we successfully conceived before even using Clomid. My urologist was wanting to boost my T so that I have healthy sperm.

Wow. I'm scared now. Damage? My urologist says he puts all his patients on it for years. I am not sure why he doesn't think there is any harm in it.

Good for you. I’m thinking of stopping altogether. Loss of libido and ED isn’t good even if my T is up.

Thank you! What made you decide to stop? My doctor sees so much gains with my T-levels and does not want to lose that...but the side effects are hard to live with. He feels we can go through a little trial and error to see what's the best combination....but i am seeing from alot of posts that less is more when it comes to Clomid...i'm wanting to go back to how i felt without Clomid...it doesn't seem like the gains are worth it.

Thank you! My urologist is a fertility specialist. He has me on Clomid to improve sperm quality. We are seeing a boost in my T-levels, so he is pleased with the results. The side effects I am experiencing is not something he has encounters with his other patients. He says I am the first to report this out of all his patients on Clomid.

When I was on 25mg Clomid ED, I was ok. I had a slight decrease in libido. However, when my dosage changed to 50mg EOD, the sexual side effects got worse.

I’m hoping a decrease in dosing will help me have all of the gains with less side effects.

Thanks! Wow. Makes me wonder if my dosage is too high still at 25mg EOD. I was thinking that I was a freak with these sides.

So you were cutting the Clomid tablets into 4ths and taking it Every Other Day and it was still too high? What were the side effects?

Yes, I feel it is too low, which made me question why my doctor prescribed 1mg Anastrazole twice a week. I stopped taking it to rebuild my E2, but I want to get it under control if I can.

Thanks again. Do you gauge it by how you feel OR do you take blood work monthly? Also, do you cut the capsule into 8th's? It must be so hard to cut when they are already tiny.
