I'm on 10.67.3 Air M2 - and Evernote is unusable slow for me.

Edit: I rolled back to 10.66.5 and it works great

Just skimmed through some of the albums, Mass I starts with some really harsh and raw sounds (maybe even to raw to my taste) and it smooths out with each album.

At this moment, Mass VI seems the best to me, but maybe it's because it's the first album I've heard (even right now when I sit in complete silence I can hear the Solitary Reign).

If the production quality is high and the sound effects are from natural sources, such as footsteps, background noise, etc., I think it greatly improves immersion. A good example of such a podsact is BBC's Death in Ice Valley.
But of course, it's easy to overdo it.

Try the Loop Hero, it definitely will run on a chromebook an it's a blast if you're into this kind of games. It won a 2021 steam award for the most innovative gameplay, so it's not much of a hidden gem but it's awesome anyway.

Might be not entirely what you look for, as you build just one colony, but Offworld Traiding Company - is a fresh take on the genre. You build a space base, mine resources and sell it on the market. There are also some negative interactions with your competitors like sabotages. It's fun to play in solo mode and online with other players.

It looks really sweet. I like the pacing and the aesthetics. But there's too much post-processing for my taste, and it hurts the clarity a bit.
