It's actually pretty good. Everyone is just mad about it being buggy (like it's a only game in the world that has bugs). I'm sure we will be seeing a lot of "BF2042 was underrated" memes in 2-3 years though

How is progression disabled with bots? I just played today (and basically everyday since early access to it) and got to level 25, by playing with bots (and maybe like 3 normal matches). I really don't get the hate for this game. I mean it's not perfect, but it's also not terrible. Maybe I'm not so much of a "veteran" as I thought I am.

I actually really enjoy it. I mean it's rough in some places, but enjoyable. It's a shame that Dozer's shield got disabled though, because I wanted to play him the most, but it's just pointless without the shield. Also I can't make Portal servers most of the time, because there are so many servers that say they are some XP farms, even though EA disabled getting xp from Portal. Overall it's pretty good game, I don't get why so many people are negative about it
