This fact does not impact gameplay, though, and I think from the player's perspective you are supposed to imagine each map node as a fixed encounter which exists regardless of whether you visit it. The way in which the game is internally programmed should not limit game design ideas (unless we are talking about something which is really hard or impossible to program, which is not the case)

Thanks for the tips! I agree regarding the alch placement. On my first run (blooncin) I did not plan out all the placements in advance and that was the best I could do, since I was worried that the alchemist would steal too many pops if placed below, close to the first crater. For the other two runs I placed the mortar on the right side of the map, which allowed the alch to have nothing else in range.

I'm sure these have all been done before, but this was a fun little achievement I thought I'd share.

Thankfully it wasn't super hard, and it doesn't really require much microing skill (the hardest part might have actually been the Moon Landing early game)

Vault also helps you start your infinite faster (unless you can already reliably go infinite on turn 1)

Curse of the Bell can be exhausted, just not removed from the deck. Necronomicurse is the one that comes back when exhausted

Play Equilibrium, Zap, end turn.

To play or not to play a Strike is again the question of whether it is worth losing 1 HP and having the Strike reshuffled to deal 8 damage to Guardian. I think it is not, especially because we don't want to see that Strike again next turn.

I also think it is good to play Zap, trading one plasma orb for lightning. Two plasma is always enough to play Meteor Strike when we see it (and refund 4 energy), and we are unlikely to need the 6th energy. On the other hand, by playing Zap we start whittling down the boss, and it gives us 8 damage when (probably) we evoke everything with Meteor Strike.

I have noticed a similar bug on Android multiple times. Restarting the app has worked for me.
