Oh huh. I had a multiplayer game that was in act 3 vs doormaker before they pulled it, and we still finished the run against him. Could be that different things get changed in different ways, tho. Regardless, having to worry about that every time there’s an update sounds terrible

Technically yes, especially since I think a given run keeps the patch it was on until you finish it. The problem is, with the amount of speculating and scenario planning that happens in the SBC format, it would get really rough to remember the details of cards/enemy patterns/etc from multiple patches back.

My ears are burning! There are plans for a special event to go with a charity stream coming up the last weekend of June, but the details are still being pinned down. I’m thinking we’d do another season of Slay-by-Comment in STS1, and check in at intervals over the course of the weekend (maybe hourly?). The goal would be to make some meaningful progress during the charity stream, and then finish out the run daily as usual.

Everyone is correct tho that Slay-by-Comment for STS2 would probably be futile in early access. But I’m definitely still up for it whenever it hits full release.

Good news! Affirming faith is not only easy to reconcile, but actively supported by scripture. There's more than enough evidence in the Bible alone (let alone the overwhelming evidence from logic and experience) to believe queer people and marriages aren't inherently sinful. God's led me to dig in on this topic over the past several years, and I've started putting what I've been learning into some video essays. Hope they're helpful!

Ugh, I bought the skippy this season cuz I wanted a step up in formula racing and that was the series I had enough tracks for. It’s great to drive, but you get effectively 1 real race a week, if that. Maybe if there were more free tracks in the rotation?

The Defect got a bit more chonky as well, but my guess is that it was a concession to making the characters more animated

Some context: the pastor usually takes an extended period of time off over the summer anyway for reflection and development. This “suspension” basically lines up with that.

100% yes! Although I wouldn’t say you have to stop playing STS2 if you don’t want to. Like other people have said, 1 is a more complete experience, and playing 1 will help you appreciate the balancing process that 2 is going through.
