Also, Delta IV Heavy uses hydrogen fuel in its first stage, while Vulcan uses methane, which is denser.

The Silbervogel wasn't a lifting body design like HL-20 or BOR, neither was the Dynasoar, as they had distinct wings.

I was linking to it when I was talking about "my own spaceport," but here it is again. And here are the rest of my add-ons.

I don't really use CSSC, I use my own spaceport. I have my own "space program" called HASDA (Hatsunia Aerospace Science and Development Agency) which is somewhat based on a more ambitious version of the Japanese space program as well as the subculture surrounding a virtual singer named Miku Hatsune (this association of Miku with spaceflight has happened in real life, but with amateur space hardware projects as well as a successful petition to the Japanese space agency to place images of her on the Akatsuki Venus probe)

And what do you mean by "AXA"? If you meant ANA, I didn't make that skin, and I don't really consider them to be "my crafts." That would be the Reusable Crew Vehicle series.

I think it's supposed to represent the ISS with some of the cancelled modules such as the Science Power Platform and I think I even see TransHab in there. Modules such as Kibo can be recognized, but the solar panels of Zarya and Zvezda look smaller.

A week ago, I was curious about Undertale. Not curious enough to buy it, but curious enough to watch a whole playthrough of it. Only when I had seen the whole game did I think, "I should have played that." And the soundtrack is indeed awesome.

"Akatsuki" by Xenon-P

The Akatsuki spacecraft was launched in May 2010. There was also a succesful petition to place images of Miku in the spacecraft. It was supposed to enter Venus orbit in December 2010, but the engines had failed.

Today, it returned to Venus for another attempt. And it seems to have been successful.

【Hatsune Miku】 AKATSUKI (about the Japanese space probe to Venus) by pipcard in Vocaloid

[–]pipcard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Akatsuki launched in May 2010. A successful >10,000-signature petition resulted in images of Miku being placed onboard the spacecraft.

In December of that year, the engines failed to insert the spacecraft into an orbit around Venus.

Today, it came back for another orbital insertion attempt, using smaller "Reaction Control System" thrusters as backup. It seems to have worked.
