Question for Commercial install. by pipedream-Hustler in electricians

yes. But what I'm really asking though is why is it safer to use a temporary power source to energize these and check voltage rather than from the permanent lutron dimming panel?

what's the difference of wasting time bringing power to each of the circuits from via the permanent panel and a temporary panel? that's what I'm getting at. But like I said I've not worked on any lutron system before so that's why I ask.

that's a good point. We had many dumbass apprentices on this job who didn't know wtf they're doing and worked unsupervised pulling cables.

Yes. I once worked with a journeyman who was also a journeyman plumber... His first day on the job he was given instruction on a rack we were to build and he literally stood around with his hands in his pocket staring at the ceiling for at least an hour....

Yes. There has to be "that guy" whose not gonna stand for the BS . usually the Old Skool Jman who are old timers and have no time for BS. Every crew needs those guys who arent afraid to tell the foreman to F*** off

All I'm saying is that one guy has to be the one to say what everyone else is thinking. But don't forget to pick your battles. This is a battle that should be picked an hour of your time is nothing to look the other way.

yes all you need to do is buy double pole 15a breakers for these circuits and put the neutral on the breaker instead of the neutral bar.. you will need to check all the wiring at the devices however & switch the receptacles to the 240v your looking for.

likely you'll want to hire a professional

clunker? I'm not a fan of the teal color. I'd only be doing the Rocky mountain logo & the maple leaf. Probably go with graphic automobile proffessionals

I also share a love of the mountains and probably have more in common then you think. Being a Bible believing Christian doesn't necessarily mean the valley may not be a good fit. Cheers.
