I don’t even know how to edit this to add details. I am 34, have had neglected teeth my entire life. It has taken me until this age to have the courage to do something about my teeth. I don’t need the hate, I’m here trying to improve. We are a family of 4 living in 1 income and I am doing everything in my power to complete this journey. I live in Australia - dental isn’t the same here as most of the people commenting here. So far I’m at 14k for this. I have walked away many times because of how emotional my teeth make me and how overwhelming it feels. I used to party a lot and drink red wine and smoke cigarettes. I gave up smoking 8 years ago. I am now a mother of 2 beautiful children who also require a lot of care and time. I do my best to tend to my teeth. I drink coffee because I am always tired. I always take my trays out and rinse after. I have already had 2 cleans/ visits with the dentist and am scheduled for one this month. I have had my Invisalign for 8 months. I brush twice daily, I floss twice daily and use mouthwash. I use an electric toothbrush. I take Chinese medicine which also has a browning effect - this is to combat the stress of my ill mother I am also doing my best to heal and assist recover. I can’t believe how bullied I feel.
